Heading to Bangladesh….

April 9, 2010

I’m heading to Bangladesh for a month to intern with the Grameen Bank.  Grameen Bank and it’s founder, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.  Here’s a video about the Grameen Bank and their work.  I hope to post regularly until I leave and while I’m gone.  Enjoy.

Grameen Bank’s work is having a significant impact on the lives of their borrowers. I’m very excited to have this opportunity.

Ohhhh. So you’re actually going to Bangladesh? That explains all of the rants about Takas, and sari’s, etc. over the past 5 months…

Rob, Thanks for your comments. Now that I have another outlet to talk about Bangladesh. I’ll stop decreasing your productivity at work. 🙂

It looks like you are going to have an amazing time working with Dr. Yunus.
